Ian Ellsworth, a mysterious, controversial, and eccentric London New Media artist with an upcoming exhibitionat the W-cooper in New York, interacts with Geomatic Art in this performance and gives us a work of art with a new conceptual originality. The result is a great disorientation of the perceptive-creative identity in a algorithmfragmentation of the global interactions of over one thousand users of the event Genoma Contemporary, taking place at the ex Wales (UK) Pavilion in the circuit of spaces and during the 54th Venice Biennale. Ian Ellsworth (Interactive Art Newmedia by Ellsworth) focuses on the media potentials of op029sm11, the work of another new media Artist, which in turn is inspired by Giusti’s Amplexus in aere. Such potentialities areexpressed by the software interface of the new media installation by Stefano Mitrione and Virtualgeo, which in turn generates a great number of creative works by users and Artists from all over the world. Finally, the identity of the artist, as the author the creative process, is lost by arbitrarily considering one's own work as the negation of copyright in a epoch, the present, in which the culture of brand and property is spreading. With great clarity Ian Ellswort says that there is no more the author of something, but something of the wholeweb, the shared intangible. Today artists are no longer part of an independent research in the World of Art, but they can still make the directors of schemes and concepts that are already existing, but not yet authenticated. In this sense, Ian opens the door to a hot topic of our time, i.e. the shared intellectual property. That discussion can lead to many disputes, which in turn ironically become the foundations of his work.
